Medical Clinic at Al-Quds University

At Al-Quds University, we are acutely aware of the indispensable role physical health plays in shaping an individual’s overall well-being and academic success. We firmly believe that access to high-quality healthcare services and health education is paramount to a conducive learning environment. Hence, our commitment to offering comprehensive physical healthcare services on campus is a testament to this belief.

The Medical Clinic is located on Abu Dies Main Campus, at the center of Al-Quds University AQU- Health Complex Building, and is staffed by a medical team. The clinic is open Saturday through Wednesday from 8 am – 4 pm with walk-ins welcome. The doctor is available daily from 9 am – 4 pm. Clinic appointments are confidential and free of charge. The medical clinic at AQU was established in 2013 out of the university’s need for a medical entity to supervise the general health of students, staff, visitors, and those in the university campus.

The medical clinic performs several tasks, the most important of which are:

The heart of our healthcare provision lies in our fully equipped on-campus Health Center. Manned by a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, it provides a broad spectrum of medical services. From routine health checkups and first aid treatment to managing chronic conditions and emergency situations, the Center is prepared to address the healthcare needs of our campus community.

Understanding that prevention is better than cure, the Health Center also plays a significant role in health promotion and disease prevention. Regular health screenings, vaccinations, and awareness campaigns are conducted to ensure our community stays ahead of potential health issues.

Furthermore, acknowledging the power of knowledge in maintaining good health, we offer comprehensive health education services. Through workshops, seminars, and health fairs, we provide our community with crucial information on various health topics, ranging from nutrition and mental health to disease prevention and sexual health. Our dedicated health educators work tirelessly to ensure this information is accessible, understandable, and usable.

Our commitment to providing physical healthcare services extends beyond our own student body. In line with our ethos of serving the community, the Health Center is open to the public, ensuring we contribute positively to the health landscape of our larger community.
